The Journal: Crafting Collaborative Joinery for Student Accommodation

Living in student accommodation is more than just having a place to stay. When designing the joinery we needed to foster an environment where students can thrive academically and socially. Working with Journal and Icon we were commitment to providing students with a space that goes beyond the ordinary. Our project's central focus was to create joinery that not only met practical needs but also encouraged collaboration, innovation, and community building. Here's a glimpse into how we achieved this in our student accommodation design.

‍To facilitate effective collaboration, we understood the importance of providing students with functional work areas. Our joinery incorporated dedicated study nooks, spacious tables, and comfortable seating arrangements. These areas were designed to cater to different study preferences, allowing students to choose the setting that best suited their needs.
